DIWA Party-list Leads Graduation Ceremony of its TESDA Scholars

True to its mission of promoting workers’ welfare and providing opportunities for workers’ growth and development, the DIWA Party-list proudly facilitated the graduation ceremony of its 330 scholars from various registered courses offered by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

Last March 4, 2015, more than 200 DIWA Party-list scholars from the Provincial Training Center of Bohol graduated from their respective TESDA courses like “Cellular Phone Maintenance and Repair”, “Diesel Engine Tune Up Leading to Automotive Servicing”, “Shielded Metal Arc Welding”, “Single Unit Plumbing Installation & Assemblies”, and “Preventive Maintenance on Motorcycle Mechanical and Electrical Systems Leading to Motorcycle Engine Repair”.

Last March 21, 2015, the DIWA team also went to Zambales to lead the graduation rites of its 120 TESDA scholars from the Provincial Training Center of Zambales and Kolehiyo ng Subic. The scholars finished different TESDA courses such as “Diesel Engine Tune Up Leading to Automotive Servicing” and “Bread Making Leading to Bread and Pastry Production”.

In view of the overwhelming reception and feedback received from the scholars and their families, the DIWA Part-list looks forward to providing more TESDA scholarships in other provinces in the coming months.
